How do I connect BragWorthy to my Shopify store?
Install BragWorthy Events from the Shopify App Store. Shopify handles the authorization — there is nothing to type and no store domain to enter. Once installed, open BragWorthy from the Apps menu in your Shopify admin; the "Open dashboard" button signs you in here automatically and your products sync within seconds.
What Shopify data does BragWorthy access?
BragWorthy accesses your product catalog (to sync items for guest selection and write party-eligibility metafields), inventory levels (to keep stock counts accurate), and orders (to create draft orders for bookings, confirm payment, and issue refunds). Booking orders carry the guest's name and email, which we use only to run your events — never for marketing. We do not access store analytics. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I uninstall?
Uninstall BragWorthy Events from your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps and sales channels). Your Shopify credentials are cleared automatically and synced products are deactivated in BragWorthy; the parties, guests, and settings you created here stay in your BragWorthy account.
What payment methods are supported?
BragWorthy supports three payment providers: Stripe, Square, and Shopify Checkout. When connected to Shopify, guest payments create draft orders that flow directly to your Shopify admin. For standalone mode, payments process through Stripe or Square.
Is BragWorthy free?
You start free and pay nothing until you wrap your first completed party. After that, BragWorthy is a paid subscription. On Shopify, Professional is $59/month and Enterprise is $199/month, billed through your Shopify invoice. Standalone (Stripe or Square), Professional is $39/month and Enterprise is $149/month, billed through ThriveCart. All prices are in USD and you can cancel anytime.
How is my data protected?
All API credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Data is transmitted over HTTPS with HSTS enforcement. Webhook signatures are verified using HMAC-SHA256.
